Hi there... I will be moving all next week and dismantling computers and whatnot. We still do not have a firm closing date for our new place so we may be staying with a friend for a few days after we close on our current place and get out of here Between the three feet of snow we got here the last two days, and all this moving business, on top of work stuff I am in need of a bit of a break!!

Sorry I won't be able to keep up on your art submissions for a couple weeks... but I look forward to catching back up with everyone as soon as I can... have a good Halloween and talk to you soon....

Hi all- wow, been mostly absent for some time.... miss you all but still trying to keep up on your deviations

I am so busy with photography work for the software company that I mentioned a couple months ago... and we just sold our house and are in the process of packing, fixing things, moving, dealing with the loan on the new house, etc... But I am super excited for the move... we are moving back into the city just off downtown and I will have a large studio to work out of.

Hope you all are well and enjoying the change of seasons- wherever you may be!

Here's hoping by Thanksgiving I can settle down a bit and get into my creative space to do my own work for the winter...

Hi all... got a question for my British watchers out there...and no, this really has nothing to do with art...

My husbands birthday is coming up in two weeks and we are having a psuedo British themed party for him in honor of the Beatles Rock Band game coming out (which we are going to play at the party of course)... what we need to know is, besides fish and chips, what are good British foods we can serve at the party, also, specifically stuff that isn't as heavy or greasy?
And is there a "british" desert out there?

Hi there my friends

No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth... but this has to have been the busiest summer ever!

Lots of good, sad, joyous as well as challenging things have happened... but alas I am doing quite well

The new news is that my job as a Photographer and Artist for hire is really taking off... Besides getting a bunch of independant work doing portraits, conceptual stuff, weddings and commissioned artwork, I just got contracted by a good sized software company
( unfortunately I can't say who right now )to provide all their stock photography for the next six months! I am very excited as this will be by far the largest undertaking I have done as an artist in scope, money and opportunity for future rewards. Its still somewhat in the trial basis right now... but I think this could be a cool thing as long as it doesn't interfere with my other works on portrait and weddings and bands and stuff...

not to mention original art! man, when was the last time i posted a drawing or surreal work... it is wearing on me and making me quite sad that I do not have the time I once did for artwork... but, I know that things come in waves and right now there is a momentum and expression in other areas... so i will ride it!

So, know that I am watching you all when I can, and will post work when I can... And all of my friends here and you know who you are have helped shape me into who I am today and what I am capable of...

Well, the sad, crazy and busy events of the last few weeks seem to finally be chilling out...I'm still swamped with edits for clients but that I can deal with

Just wanted to tell you all thank you for the kind words regarding my last journal...it's been an intense and emotionally trying last few weeks... but there was some good and fun stuff too.

Anyway, it may take me awhile to catch up so bear with me... also in a few days I am leaving again to Seattle...that's me- always off on a plane somewhere...
